Role:- Lecturer in Business and Entrepreneurship Location:- Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom Salary:- £51,000 per annum Employment Type:- Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) Role Overview The Lecturer in Business and Entrepreneurship will deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes in Global Business and Entrepreneurship. The role focuses on developing students’ academic, professional, and entrepreneurial capabilities through engaging and inclusive teaching practices. Due to the delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess undergraduate modules in business and entrepreneurship-related subject areas. Teach topics such as project management, business planning and pitching, entrepreneurial processes, financial management, and strategic management. Develop, review, and update course materials to ensure alignment with academic standards and industry relevance. Use a variety of teaching and assessment methods to support diverse learning styles and student needs. Provide academic supervision, guidance, and constructive feedback to support student progression and achievement. Monitor student engagement, attendance, performance, and progression in line with programme requirements. Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date academic and assessment records. Participate in staff development activities, peer observations, academic meetings, and quality assurance processes. Required Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous higher education lecturing experience in the UK or equivalent context. Strong subject knowledge in business, management, or entrepreneurship-related disciplines. Experience supervising student work and providing structured academic feedback. Proven ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds.
