People Solutions Manager

Location: Chanel Head Office, London

Reports to: Head of People Solutions & Operations

Contract: Full-time and Permanent position.

Your role at CHANEL:

The People Solutions Manager will have a strong background in Workday and lead the change management efforts for our Workday optimisation initiatives, with emphasis on Absence Management and its impact on Payroll across the UK,UKGlobal Corporate, Canada, and Ireland. This role will take ownership of all key Workday aspects, serving as the primary point of contact for Workday queries across these regions.You will drive efficiency and compliance, support the Head of People Solutions and Operations, and play a pivotal role within the People Operations team. Key responsibilities includeidentifyingprocess improvements, ensuring data integrity, and enablingaccuratereporting to support HR operations.

Whatimpactyou can create at Chanel:

1. Manage and maintain the relationship with Workday and related systems,inc.Medigold, Reltio, D365,recommending enhancements or new features as business needs evolve, and oversee the configuration, maintenance, adoption, and optimisation of Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Performance, and Recruiting) across the UK, Canada, and Ireland.

2. Oversee day-to-day support activities, including issue resolution, system audits, data integrity, and service requests.Makedecisionsautonomouslyrelating to theday-to-dayoperationalsmooth running of the system.

3. Coordinateandmonitorsystemperformance,updates, releases, and testing in partnership with the HRIS and IT teams.Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and internal controls.

4. Work collaboratively with the business to translate all policies into Workday and Payroll processes to ensureaccuratepayments from a payroll compliance perspective.


Training and Support:

5. Developand delivercomprehensive training programs,materialsand documentationfor end-usersand internal stakeholdersto ensureproficiencyin Workday functionality.

6. Collaborate with training teams to deliver training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually, to a wide range of users, including inductions and accessible information for new starters.


User Adoption, Change Management, Communication, and Engagement:

7. Strategically drive user engagement and foster adoption of Workday,Medigold, and RG solutions across departmentswith alignment to businessobjectives.Develop and implement department-specific engagement options.Highlight and address any resistance or concerns from end-users to ensure smooth transition and adoption.

8. Lead the analysis and reporting of usage, adoption, and KPIs for Workday and related platforms.Analyse and report on Workday usage, adoption, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Track and measure the success of adoption efforts using key performance indicators (KPIs), including Sickness MI analysis, and take corrective action when necessary.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, assess trends, and drive actionable insights that promote continuous improvement.Facilitate ongoing communication with end-users to gather feedback, foster collaboration, and build advocacy for the platform’s benefits.

Collaboration with Technical Teams and Reporting:

10. Serve as the primary liaison between HR, IT,Payrolland business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Workday solutions. Liaison alsofor keydecision-makingprocesses.

11. Work closely with Workday technical teams (HRIS Global, IT, AMS Partners, etc.) to ensure that the system is configured to meet user needs andidentifiedbusiness requirements.

12. Provide insights into the user experience and advocate for user-centric design and functionality in Workday and HR Solution deployments, achieved by ownership adoption of tools and software platforms, such asMedigoldin conjunction with Workday.

13. Provide regular reporting on user adoption and overall progress to senior management.

18. At least3years in the Workdayconfigurationecosystem. Ideally with a background in time off, reportingand integrations

19. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Communication,Collaboration,Adaptability,Change Leadership & Process Optimisationdriven

20. Technical skillsrequired:Systems thinking, technical Aptitude,reportingand configurationcapabilities in Workday, strongproficiencyin Excel,PowerBIandMicrosoft suite
