The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join a leading engineering consultancy on a high-profile EPCM project in Ayrshire. This is a site-based role where you'll play a key part in coordinating daily activities, ensuring safe working practices, and driving progress across multiple disciplines.
The Role

This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Area Supervisor, General Foreman, Site Coordinator, Construction Lead, Field Supervisor, Site Manager, Works Supervisor, or Project Supervisor.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day construction activities within your designated area, ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently.
* Coordinate subcontractors and resources to maintain progress against the schedule, including short-term look-ahead planning.
* Monitor site conditions, temporary works, and plant to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments, addressing any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of progress, issues, and actions to support reporting and project delivery.
Qualifications
* Trade-based qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) and CSCS Gold Card as a minimum.
* SSSTS certification (SMSTS preferred) with strong knowledge of site safety practices.
* Significant experience supervising construction on large-scale industrial or process projects.
* Familiarity with temporary works management (TWS certification advantageous).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders on site.
