Head of PMO - Pensions Programme - INSIDE IR35 - REMOTE
Our client, a global company, is recruiting for a Head of PMO to join the team on a contract basis, remotely.
Note: Some very ad hoc travel to client sites may be required.
Must be eligible for SC clearance.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Programme & Project Management: Support defining policy and standards across the business.
2. Governance: Support the activity of defining policy and standards, project/programme governance processes.
3. Planning & Scheduling: Create comprehensive, integrated plans at the project, programme, and portfolio levels for complex, standard, and major projects and programmes that enable effective monitoring and control.
4. Develop consolidated planning outputs to support programme and portfolio management reporting and governance.
5. Resource Management: Identify and assign resources; support business decisions by assessing supply and demand, availability, utilization, and capacity.
6. Risk & Issue Management: Establish, lead, and manage risk and issue management processes, tools, and techniques across programme/portfolio.
7. Data Analysis / Business Intelligence: Develop tools and strategies to transform raw data into business insights.
8. Delivery Support and Management: Provide specialist support and engagement with other business areas to achieve wider outcomes.
Experience Requirements:
* Extensive experience in project management and leadership roles.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build stakeholder relationships.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Proven experience in implementing and improving PMO processes and procedures.
* Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
