Clerical Officer
Location: Ballymena
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am–5pm)
Hourly Rate: £12.65
About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑focused and motivated Clerical Officer to provide essential administrative support within the AM Project Delivery team. This post is ideal for someone with solid administrative experience who can adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and maintain high accuracy in a busy office environment.
You will be responsible for document control, record keeping, data management, and general clerical support to ensure the smooth running of project activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Upload documents to HMS and update completion records on Profess
2. Maintain accurate filing systems and support records management
3. Attend meetings and provide clerical support as required
4. Manage incoming post — scanning, logging, and circulating to relevant staff
5. Photocopy documents and prepare professional document booklets
6. Create and maintain spreadsheets to collect, track and store information
7. Assist with general administrative duties across the project delivery team
Essential Requirements
Experience & Skills
8. 1–5 years’ experience in a clerical or administrative role
9. Intermediate IT proficiency, including spreadsheets and document management
10. Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
11. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
12. Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Qualifications
13. No specific formal qualifications required beyond standard administrative competence
14. No professional registration required

Working Pattern & Leave
16. Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week
17. Core hours: 9am–5pm
18. Breaks: Minimum 20‑minute break (flexible between 12pm–2pm)
