We’re working with welcoming and inclusive nurseries and primary schools in Waltham Forest who are looking for Qualified Nursery Nurses to support their youngest learners.
This is a hands‑on, heart‑first role where you’ll help shape those all‑important early experiences. You’ll be creating a safe, playful, and nurturing environment where children can explore, build confidence, and take their first steps into learning.
If you love getting stuck into messy play, storytelling, and those small but mighty “lightbulb” moments, you’ll feel right at home here.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting babies and young children with daily routines, care, and learning activities
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and development
* Delivering and supporting play‑based learning in line with EYFS
* Helping children develop early communication, social, and motor skills
* Building strong, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
* Supporting emotional wellbeing and encouraging positive behaviour
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified in Childcare, Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent)
* Passionate about early years development and making a real impact
* Naturally nurturing, patient, and full of positive energy
* Confident working as part of a team in a busy nursery environment
* Proactive, reliable, and ready to get involved in all aspects of nursery life
* A strong communicator who builds warm, supportive relationships
