Job Profile Summary
The role is primarily responsible for the operational delivery of UK and Ireland pension programmes (DB and DC) within EMEA. It ensures effective administration, governance, and risk management in line with regulatory and internal standards. In the Benefits Service Delivery team, you will support the UK Pensions team, focusing on third‑party oversight, governance compliance, and process excellence through a structured and controlled operating environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of UK and Ireland pension schemes (DB/DC), ensuring compliance with service, governance, and regulatory standards.
* Support EMEA pension and benefits operations, including Ireland DC scheme.
* Oversee third‑party administrator (Willis Towers Watson) to ensure service quality, compliance, and risk management.
* Maintain and review pension processes in line with the single process inventory.
* Support governance activities (trustee reporting, controls, audits, regulatory compliance). Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
* Partner with pensions, payroll, finance, governance, and vendor management teams. Monitor pension‑related financial processes, including invoicing and expenses.
* Manage issue resolution, risk identification, and escalation. Support strategic initiatives, regulatory changes, and EMEA‑wide pension projects.
* Maintain a strong control environment focused on risk mitigation and operational excellence.
Skills & Experience
* Well‑developed understanding of UK pension schemes, including Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution structures.
* Experience in pension operations and working with third‑party administrators.
* Knowledge of UK pensions governance, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to manage processes in a controlled and highly regulated environment.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations).
* Detail‑oriented with an in‑depth process focus.
* Analytical thinking with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Proficient stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple teams and levels.
* Effective problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex operational issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with trustees, vendors, and internal partners.
