This position involves leading analytical efforts for various projects within a Line of Business or discipline. Responsibilities include leveraging databases to acquire client and performance data, transforming data into insights, and delivering these insights to support complex business decisions. The role requires collaboration with business partners to understand priorities and communicate complex data outputs effectively.
The Client Quantitative Analyst is part of the Client Protection organization, supporting functions such as Fraud Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Screening Compliance. Key qualities include a quantitative mindset, curiosity, and a desire to challenge the status quo while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

Main Responsibilities
* Applying quantitative methods to enhance AML compliance programs
* Maintaining and evolving analytical capabilities in response to changing risks and client behaviors
* Leading and coaching team members on problem structuring, analysis, and communication
* Presenting outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
Responsibilities
* Extracting data using programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Python, or Spark/Scala from various database systems
* Transforming and connecting data across sources to generate meaningful insights
* Performing quantitative analysis to answer business questions and provide actionable insights
* Researching and validating data sources, conducting quality checks, and addressing data gaps
* Communicating complex subjects effectively using tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Tableau
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in data science, quantitative research, or related fields
* Proficiency in Python, SAS, and SQL, with knowledge of statistical and data mining methods
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data extraction skills, including experience with Hadoop
* Excellent communication and technical writing skills for diverse audiences
* Innovative mindset and ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
