Your Role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events and creating unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of a diverse portfolio of events across 4 unique venues in Stockport.
In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with the Events and Hospitality Service Lead to oversee bar operations, manage stock and staffing, and support financial targets. You'll inspire and train a team of hospitality supervisors and food and beverage assistants, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. From analysing stock to managing supplier relationships, you'll play a key role in delivering our business plan and elevating our reputation.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys leading a team, and is ready to take ownership. You’ll need to be flexible, working a rota that includes regular evenings and weekends, and confident handling everything from performance management to risk assessments.
If you’re ready to shape the future of Stockport Events while making a real impact, we want to hear from you!
About You
You’re a seasoned hospitality professional with a strong background in high-end event operations; ideally from a hotel or venue that lives and breathes service excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment and have the experience and confidence to hit the ground running.
This role isn’t 9 to 5, and that excites you. Evenings and weekends are part of the deal, and you’re fully on board with that. You love being where the action is, solving problems on the spot, and leading from the front.
You’re a natural team builder; kind, fun, and passionate about giving guests an unforgettable experience. You know how to motivate a team, build morale, and when needed, have the tough conversations to keep standards high. You’re financially savvy, operationally sharp, and have a strong grip on cost control, stock and budget management.
Above all, you're someone who supports your leaders and peers and keeps the focus on delivering amazing events. If you’re ready to bring energy, expertise, and leadership to a growing, ambitious team, we’d love to meet you.
