A fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing GP surgery, looking to welcome a new Respiratory Nurse to the team.
As a member of the Watling Street Practice nursing team, you will be working from our surgery in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.
In addition to respiratory duties, experience in chronic illness management and immunisations is essential for this role.
Hours, Salary, and Benefits
* £23 per hour
* A minimum of 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with length of service

Shift Pattern from 25 hours per weekFlexible working and compressed hours are encouraged and can be discussed
You will be given a set shift pattern, working between 8 am & 6:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, with flexibility to discuss other hours or days.
We are offering 25 hours per week on a permanent basis, with an option to work 37.5 hours during your first year to assist with maternity cover.

Job responsibilities
* Assist in and perform routine patient care tasks as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
* Conduct asthma/peak flow readings, Feno tests, spirometry, and COPD assessments
* Request pathology tests, such as urine cultures and blood tests
* Refer patients to local services as appropriate
* Follow clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs when necessary
