We are looking to appoint an outstanding KS1 / KS2 Teacher to join our Primary School team in September.
The post would suit someone who is looking for an existing or aspiring Primary Teacher. You will be driven, ambitious, and passionate about delivering a high standard of education to our pupils and have enthusiasm to make a real difference to their outcomes and life chances.
You will be able to plan and deliver stimulating, challenging, and stretching lessons, whilst setting appropriate differentiated and thought-provoking work for all abilities. You will be making the commitment to achieve high standards, making a real impact on our pupils' progress.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver consistently good (or better) lessons
2. Carry out teaching duties, as required, in accordance with the schemes of work and the National Curriculum.
3. Identify clear teaching objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed.
4. Set tasks which challenge pupils and ensure a high level of interest.
5. Set clear targets building on prior attainment.
6. Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
7. Make effective use of assessment and ensure coverage of the programmes of study.
8. Ensure effective teaching and the best use of available time.
9. Monitor and intervene to ensure excellent learning and discipline.
10. Provide pastoral support to ensure the development of the whole pupil
