We’re looking for a technically strong Electrical Manager to play a central role in delivering multiple electrical and instrumentation projects across industrial and commercial environments.
This is a hands-on technical delivery position ideal for someone who enjoys solving engineering challenges, working closely with clients, and taking projects from concept through to completion. You’ll be joining a specialist system integrator for fuel management and fluid handling systems for oil and gas & petrochemical projects.
What you’ll be doing
* Conduct site visits to assess existing installations, diagnose issues, and capture technical requirements.
* Develop detailed project scopes, specifications, and proposals for upgrades, modifications, or complete system replacements.
* Lead the technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and timely completion.
* Work closely with internal Electrical Design Engineers to review drawings, schematics, and design documentation.
* Coordinate with external hydraulic consultants for specialist elements.
* Contribute to HAZOP documentation and liaise with third-party design approval bodies.
* Ensure systems meet relevant certification and compliance requirements, including CompEx and ATEX where applicable.
* Support commercial and sales teams by identifying technical requirements and preparing accurate costings and proposals.
* Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and satisfaction.
* Oversee build, integration, and testing activities, ensuring all project documentation and quality records are maintained.
* Report project progress, risks, and status updates to senior stakeholders.
About you
