A wonderfully, easy-going family with 2 happy children aged 4 and 6 years-old are looking for a fun and enthusiastic, supportive Nanny and someone who is wanting a stable, long-term role. The family are keen to have someone who would be open and able to travel with them internationally (about 3 times a year and may increase in the future). These trips would always be discussed with plenty of notice. The nanny’s focus will be on the children and their routines.
The family have regular cleaners, so light housekeeping and nursery duties for the children only – preparing healthy meals for the children; children’s laundry and keeping their spaces organised, clean and tidy; planning fun, age-appropriate activities, outings and play; supporting daily routines, including nursery drop-offs and pick-ups; helping maintain a calm, structured and happy day; being genuinely engaged with the children and their development.
The 6 year-old is homeschooled with a tutor several times a week, so no formal teaching is required — just a steady, supportive presence. The 4 year-old attends a Nursery 3 times a week and will start Reception at a school locally in September. The children love arts and crafts, playing lots of games together, exploring outside and places locally, reading lots of interesting books and swimming.
This role is suited to an enthusiastic, adaptable, friendly person who enjoys an active family life, has solid childcare experience (professional nanny, nursery, school or similar), confident caring for two young children, is organised, reliable and takes initiative. Also someone who is happy to travel with the family on pre-arranged holidays and maybe open to occasional weekend care with notice.
