About You
* Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse or ODP (RN Child / RSCN)
* Current registration with NMC/HCPC
* Highly motivated, newly qualified welcome as well as experienced Band 5 Theatre Practitioners in Scrub and/or Anaesthetic areas, (rotation between the two areas for ODPs)

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Team leader in theatre and to a Clinical lead, some of your responsibilities will include:
* You will be expected to work within a self-contained theatre team on a daily basis.
* Utilise clinical and risk assessment skills to maintain a safe environment.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care plans for children/young people and their families presenting for care within the framework of the nursing/theatre team.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure smooth patient pathways and optimal surgical outcomes.

Qualifications and Training
* Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse or ODP (RN Child / RSCN / RGN or ODP)

* Teaching, mentoring and Assessors qualification
* Relevant Post Basic registration course
* Paediatric Life Support

Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 a year per annum, pro rata.
