SEMH Teaching Assistants : Immediate and September Starts Hillingdon
Do you have the resilience, patience and personality to make a real difference to young people who need it most?
Empowering Learning is recruiting Teaching Assistants for specialist provisions supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism and challenging behaviour.
Many of these young people have experienced difficulties in mainstream education and need positive role models who can build trust, create boundaries and help them re:engage with learning.
We are keen to hear from:
Experienced SEND or SEMH Teaching Assistants
Youth Workers and Behaviour Mentors
Sports Coaches and PE Graduates
Psychology, Criminology and Education Graduates
Support Workers with experience of young people or vulnerable adults
The Role
Supporting students aged 11:19 in and out of the classroom
Managing behaviour through positive and restorative approaches
Building confidence, resilience and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams
