The Role
We are looking for an Engagement Director with strong experience leading client partnerships and delivering complex creative programmes within luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or culturally driven environments.
In this role, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of key accounts across campaign, experiential and brand-led initiatives. Acting as a senior client partner, you will guide engagements from early scoping through to execution, ensuring work is creatively ambitious, commercially sound, and delivered to the highest standard.
You will work closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Strategists, and cross-functional teams to shape programmes, define ways of working, and maintain alignment between client objectives and CLOSER’s creative vision.
Given the breadth of work across the business, this role requires someone who is adaptable, commercially aware, and highly collaborative—comfortable navigating multiple workstreams, evolving priorities, and varied project scales. You should be equally confident managing senior stakeholder relationships, overseeing operational detail, and driving delivery within fast-paced, creatively led environments.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Partnership
* Lead senior client relationships across multiple projects, programmes, and workstreams.
* Build trusted partnerships through clear communication, strategic guidance, and proactive account leadership.
* Facilitate regular status meetings, presentations, and project reviews with clients and internal teams.
* Translate client objectives, feedback, and business needs into actionable creative and operational direction.
* Manage challenges, risks, and evolving priorities with solutions-focused thinking and professionalism.
Project & Program Delivery
* Oversee end-to-end delivery across campaign, experiential, and integrated creative projects.
* Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and delivery frameworks.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard.
* Maintain oversight of resourcing, scheduling, and project workflows across accounts.
* Ensure alignment between creative ambition, operational feasibility, and commercial objectives throughout delivery.
Strategic & Commercial Contribution
* Support account growth through identifying new opportunities, client needs, and long-term partnership potential.
* Contribute to engagement strategy, project planning, and the development of scalable ways of working.
* Apply strong commercial awareness across budgeting, scoping, forecasting, and programme management.
* Help shape internal processes and operational systems to improve delivery quality and client experience.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Producers, and Strategists to align teams around project objectives and priorities.
* Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented working environment across disciplines.
* Support team coordination, workload planning, and communication across concurrent projects.
* Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members where required.
Operations & Process
o Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and internal systems across all engagements.
o Ensure consistent implementation of internal tools, workflows, and delivery processes.
o Identify opportunities to refine operational efficiencies and improve overall project performance.
Skills & Experience
o 8+ years’ experience within an agency, studio, or creative environment, ideally working across experiential, brand, or integrated projects.
o Strong background in client services, engagement management, project delivery, or integrated account leadership.
o Experience working with fashion, luxury, or premium lifestyle brands is highly desirable.
o Excellent organisational and operational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously.
o Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior clients and cross-functional teams.
o Commercial awareness across project scoping, budgeting, timelines, and delivery management.
o Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and operational oversight.
o Experience working within fast-paced, creatively driven environments with evolving priorities.
o Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms such as Streamtime or equivalent tools.
