Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacist Primary Care & Community Pharmacy based at Central Clinic East HSCP.

Please note this vacancy is fixed-term until October 2026

What You Will Do

This is an exciting opportunity to join the East HSCP Primary Care Pharmacy Team to develop the role of the community pharmacists within the HSCP supporting the delivery and development of the national community pharmacy contract and locally developed pharmaceutical services, linking with the Principal Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy/South HSCP. You will also support the development and implementation of the pharmacotherapy service whilst also delivering our prescribing improvement plan by supporting the work of a small cluster team within East HSCP.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job


* Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent)
* Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or RPS Advanced Curriculum (or demonstrable evidence of clinical knowledge equivalent to that level, or currently working towards this qualification)
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (including evidence of continuous professional development)
* Demonstrable experience at a senior level within a recognised and relevant area of pharmacy practice
* Track record of service development, management, evaluation and improvement
* Track record of achievement in workforce, development and management and budgetary management
* Track record in achievement in change management
* Personal experience within the portfolio
* Track record of leading a team and being part of other teams
* Advanced interpersonal skills
* Evidence of multidisciplinary working Involvement in Education and Training of Healthcare professionals

Hours

22.3 hours per week Wednesday-Friday

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership

A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
