The Wheatsheaf Inn in Kilmarnock is seeking a Shift Manager to support the Pub Manager during shifts and maintain full responsibility for the pub’s operation. The role involves motivating, supporting and organizing the team, responding to customers, delegating tasks, and working in all areas of the business, including the kitchen and behind the bar. We are looking for people with personality, a can‑do attitude, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves.
Pay and Benefits
* Starting salary of £29,013
* 40‑hour working week

Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the pub’s operation during shifts, including compliance with company standards and legislation, customer service, administration and cash management.
* Lead, support and motivate the team.
* Prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities and solve problems.
* Work a variety of shifts across the week, including front‑of‑house and kitchen duties.
* Deliver high standards in all areas: cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance and atmosphere.
