Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a US Immigration Paralegal at Bay Immigration Law, you will be responsible for preparing US employment-based immigration cases, including H-1Bs and PERMs, and family-based cases (I-130/AOS). This includes drafting USCIS forms, compiling case packets, etc., under the supervision of Case Managers, Case Directors, and Attorneys.
This position works with US immigration law, but will qualify as full-time qualifying work experience (QWE) for SQE purposes. This will be discussed further with successful candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review case strategy.
• Identify necessary documentation required from petitioner and beneficiary.
• Work with clients, and request information and documentation from the client in a timely manner.
• Draft supporting documentation, including petitioner/beneficiary letters, affidavits, etc.
• Fill out forms.
• Compile the case, including forms, supporting documentation, and exhibits.
• Review and implement edits from Case Manager and Attorney(s).
• Evaluate cases and assist in the preparation of the strategy.
