Tax Advisory Senior Associate/Manager - Energy & Natural Resources
Join KPMG's Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) tax practice as a Tax Advisory Senior Associate/Manager. In this role, you will:
1. Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex engagements to deliver exceptional advice and service.
2. Support the pursuit of new opportunities, including working on proposals and participating in pitches.
3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key KPMG point of contact for clients, legal advisers, and internal teams.
4. Coach and develop colleagues, collaborate with peers, and engage in continuous learning.
5. Prepare and oversee detailed technical advice on UK and international tax issues.
6. Analyze tax-related documents and data, highlighting key issues and their commercial impact.
7. Collaborate with UK and overseas tax specialists, critically analyzing and challenging their input.
8. Demonstrate up-to-date tax technical knowledge, especially regarding UK and OECD developments.
9. Understand financial models from a tax perspective.
10. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent.
* Ambitious, enthusiastic, with a keen interest in transactions and the ENR sector.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
* Solid UK corporate tax knowledge and awareness of other tax and accounting matters.
* Excellent project management skills, teamwork, and initiative.
* Proactive in developing business opportunities.
* Ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
* Leadership and coaching abilities.
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
