About Our Client
The Michael Page Public Sector Finance team is partnering with a dynamic, community-focused organisation based in Redcar to recruit for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Job Description
3. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the department.
5. Monitor financial performance and provide insightful variance analysis.
6. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
7. Assist with year-end processes, including liaising with external auditors.
8. Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures within the organisation.
9. Provide financial insights to support decision-making within the property sector.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards at all times.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Management Accountant should have:
11. Part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA - active study if part qualified)
12. Previous experience in management accounting, ideally within the housing sector.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
15. An ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
16. A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
