FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Redditch
Hours: Multiple shifts available
Pay Rate: £13.52 - £14.04 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team. This role involves operating counterbalance forklifts within a high-quality, fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining excellent standards and contributing to overall team success.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate FLT counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently.
* Pick pallets from racking to support order pickers.
* Collaborate with team leaders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment for deliveries.
* Inspect own work to maintain high-quality standards; quality control is essential.
* Participate in 5S activities to enhance workplace organisation and safety.
* Assist with loading and unloading duties as required.
* Perform general warehouse duties to support smooth operations.
Skills and Competencies
* Proven experience working in a quality-driven environment (essential).
* Valid FLT counterbalance licence with at least 12 months’ previous experience (essential).
* Ability to work from pick sheets and manage associated paperwork (essential).
* Confident working independently and as part of a team in a high-volume, quality-focused manufacturing setting (essential).
* Strong communication skills (essential).
* Proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency (essential).
* Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction (essential).
* Excellent timekeeping and attendance record (essential).
* Highly organised and methodical with the ability to plan own workload (essential).
