Procter and Street is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and expanding North-West based Civils company operating in the Highway Maintenance sector. Our client is coming up to their 50th year in business, and have built a highly desired client-base, which has been solidified due to the outstanding quality of service they provide.
They are looking for an Health & Safety professional to join their growing team who has a wealth of experience within the Civils and particularly Highways sector. The ideal candidate will embody our client’s commitment to delivering a five-star service, and will be instrumental in providing a team of 100+ staff with the knowledge and best working practice required.
The role:
Acting as a subject matter expert, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to advise and improve H&S Management Systems and ensure a safe working environment for all employees on-site. As well as:
1. Have the ability and knowledge to carry out site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance and company standards are adhered to.
2. Provide competent advice on current legislation, policy and procedures to key stakeholders within the business.
