Warehouse Operative/ Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Oxford
£15.00-£16.00 per hour – (6-month full-time contract)
Monday- Friday 37.5 hour week 8am-4pm
Warehouse Coordinator /Warehouse Operative Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Coordinator who is a car owner driver to join a busy aviation-related materials management team. The successful candidates will support efficient warehouse operations, ensuring materials and components are handled, stored, and distributed safely, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Warehouse Coordinator /Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily warehouse operations as directed by the Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
* Support Team Leaders and senior management in implementing company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate stock control and achieve optimum stock turn and handling performance.
* Conduct material movements and orders in correct priority sequence.
* Ensure all goods are received, handled, and dispatched in compliance with airworthiness and safety requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation within the warehouse function.
* Maintain an organised, clean, and secure working environment.
* Ensure all SAP and other business tools are used in accordance with training and work instructions.
* Provide accurate documentation and administrative support for operational efficiency.
* Support cross-functional warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, repairs, and tool control.
* Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Warehouse Coordinator /Warehouse Operative Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in warehouse coordination or logistics (aviation industry experience advantageous).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and levels.
* Good understanding of stock security and warehouse best practice.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Proven experience of working to targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
Warehouse Coordinator /Warehouse Operative Qualifications
* Valid forklift truck licence (or willingness to obtain).
* Full UK driving licence.

Additional Requirements
