Are you a passionate and driven Sous Chef ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We're looking for a talented individual to support our Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service at our beautiful golf course venue in West Malling.
📍 Location: West Malling
💷 Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Flexitime
📄 Contract: Permanent
What You'll Be Doing:
* Overseeing day-to-day food preparation across all catering outlets (bar/lounge, snack bar, on-course sales, function suite)
* Supervising kitchen porters and supporting the Head Chef
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
* Managing kitchen records (e.g. temperature logs, food labelling)
* Assisting with bookings for events, weddings, and golf societies
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* A team player with a hands-on approach
* Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
* A passion for great food and customer satisfaction
