Marine North Berwick and Spa has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Room Attendant to join our team, reporting directly to our Executive Housekeeper. * Consistently delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, room preparation and presentation throughout the Hotel, including deep cleaning exercises
* Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of your allocated rooms, corridors, service and public areas are always achieved
* Restocking and replacing items in guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas, making sure our guests have everything they need, in advance of their arrival or return to their room
* Servicing our guest bedrooms and bathrooms by making beds professionally following our procedures clearly and attentively; cleaning all surfaces and floors; showers, baths, basins and toilets, all of this to the highest standard
* Vacuuming bathrooms, bedrooms floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris; checking the vacuum cleaner each week; expertly using the correct cleaning materials for each task
* Performing any other duties as advised by the Senior Housekeeping team
* Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, look after guests needs and maintain a polite and courteous attitude
* Provide an excellent guest experience
* Reporting any defects such as faults and any areas of concern
Requirements
* Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service to guests.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as needed.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel’s operational needs.
