Instrumental Music Instructor – all disciplines (including bagpipes/pipe drumming) – EDUC 2897
South Lanarkshire Council's Instrumental Music Service is recruiting temporary supply instructors to deliver high‑quality group tuition across our schools. Teachers will support pupils through the curriculum and SQA/external examinations, and lead ensemble and performance opportunities across the authority.
Salary: £35,190 – £46,773 per year (in line with Teachers’ Conditions of Service)

Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality group tuition across South Lanarkshire schools.
* Support pupils through the curriculum and SQA/external examinations.
* Lead ensemble and performance opportunities across the authority.
* Work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified with a degree in a recognised music course.
* Experienced in teaching your specialist discipline.
* Passionate about music education and motivating young people.
* PVG Scheme membership under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 – or the ability to join prior to formal offer.
* Registered with GTC Scotland (General Teaching Council of Scotland) for teaching in a Scottish state school.
