Occupational Therapy Transformation Manager Gloucestershire County Council Rate per day: £515.52 per day Hours per week: 37 hours - Full-time Working Arrangemens: Hybrid Contract Length: 12-month contract Pertemps is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Transformation Manager to lead the design, mobilisation, and scaling of its Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy service in Gloucestershire County Council. This is a senior, outcomes-focused role responsible for translating strategic intent and an approved business case into a safe, effective, and sustainable Occupational Therapy service that delivers statutory functions and preventative support for the people of Gloucestershire. The Role As the Occupational Therapy Transformation Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to redesign and embed an effective OT service model. You will work closely with operational teams, senior leaders, and system partners to ensure the service is mobilised at pace, delivers measurable benefits, and supports wider Adult Social Care transformation objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, mobilisation, and scaling of the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy service. Translate strategic intent and approved business cases into practical, operational service delivery. Provide change management leadership, supporting teams through service redesign and implementation. Develop and deliver benefits realisation plans, ensuring outcomes are measurable and sustained. Work collaboratively with operational teams, commissioners, and external partners to embed new ways of working. Ensure the service operates in line with Care Act duties, professional standards, and best practice in prevention and independence. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, providing clear assurance to senior stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required Strong understanding of Adult Social Care, the Care Act, and the role of Occupational Therapy in prevention and independence. Proven experience in service design, transformation, and operational delivery within a local authority or similar setting. Demonstrable ability to translate strategic cases into effective, front-line delivery. Experience developing and implementing benefits realisation frameworks. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external partners.
