The Department
The PE department is active, organised and ambitious for both participation and performance. Lessons are structured, equipment is managed effectively and there is a strong culture of teamwork within the faculty.
You will be joining a department that:
* Delivers a broad and balanced KS3 and KS4 curriculum
* Prepares students for GCSE PE (where applicable)
* Promotes competitive sport and enrichment
* Maintains high expectations for kit, conduct and effort
* Encourages whole-school participation in sport
There may also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular clubs and fixtures.
The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
* Deliver structured practical lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Maintain high expectations around behaviour and participation
* Plan and assess effectively in line with departmental systems
* Support GCSE cohorts where required
* Promote teamwork, resilience and discipline
* Contribute to enrichment and extracurricular provision
You must be confident managing large groups in practical settings while maintaining safety and control.
