Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer an annual salary of £14.72 per hour, £25 paid per night out. Snap is used for secure parking. The working pattern is 1 Sunday in 4 weeks: 1x Sunday to Thursday & 3x Monday to Friday. Guaranteed 55 hours a week. We offer 28 days holiday (including bank holidays). You’ll have access to high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and other perks including ongoing training and development. Plenty of scope for overtime, paid at an inflated rate.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Delivering high-end kitchens across the UK.
* Face-to-face interaction with customers.
* An average of 3-4 nights out, with potential to bunk with a porter as part of a two-person team.
* Using PDA scanners to confirm all deliveries.
* Lifting and carrying kitchen goods to sites and customers, so you must be able to lift heavy loads safely – aids are supplied (pump truck and sack barrows).
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Full C (Class 2) license.
* Digi card and up-to-date CPC.
* No more than 6 points on your license with no DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
* FORs Silver Standard driver – SUD training, FORs e-learning completed to Silver standard.
* CSCS Green labourer card to be completed within the first 3 months of employment.
* Professional customer service skills.
* Maintain a high standard of uniform, PPE, hygiene, and cleanliness daily.
