Salary: GBP27-30k dependent on experience
Working hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Hybrid working (1 or 2 days from home)
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Assistant / Administrator to join our team and support the daily operations for a standalone HR manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and training.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
* Support recruitment activities by scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and preparing offer paperwork.
* Assist with onboarding, including right-to-work checks, inductions, and new starter documentation.
* Support employee relations processes such as probation reviews, absence tracking, and meeting notes.
* Respond to HR queries and escalate complex issues as needed.
* Coordinate training sessions and monitor completion of mandatory courses.
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations in all HR activities.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in an HR support role.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
* A team player with a professional, proactive attitude.
