About the Role
As Residential Care Manager you will manage the group of Care Supervisors, ensure high‑quality delivery of personal care, and act as an advocate for all residents. You will prioritise residents’ wellbeing, coordinate resident assessments, develop team members and maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the resident assessment process and ensure the planned care is accurately reflected in each individual care plan.
* Support, guide and develop team members.
* Manage the storage and cleanliness of equipment in line with manufacturer instructions.
* Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme and conduct robust auditing procedures.
* Conduct Quality Care Spot Checks and report on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
* Minimum of two years’ experience in long‑term care or a similar industry.
* Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
* Experience leading a team in a similar care environment.
Other Requirements
* ADBS Disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Compensation & Employment
* Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 a year.
* Contract: Permanent.
* Working pattern: Full‑time.
