Location: Various LCD Sites but based at Unit 14, Huddersfield, HD2 1GQ
Salary: £61,269 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexibly over 7 days, core hours Monday to Friday 09:00‑17:00
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise clinical teams to deliver safe and effective care.
* Develop clinical pathways and protocols to enhance service delivery.
* Support service mobilisation and development.
* Drive clinical excellence through audit, mentorship, and continuous professional development.
* Contribute to organisational objectives and align with LCD’s operational and governance goals.
* Maintain professional practice by working clinically within LCD services.
Additional Responsibilities
* Recruitment, induction, and performance management of clinical staff.
* Ensure compliance with relevant checks, training, and professional standards.
* Conduct clinical audit and quality improvement activities.
* Develop and maintain clinical workforce rota in line with operational needs.
* Engage with stakeholders across the Integrated Care System to foster new opportunities for LCD.
* Represent clinical services in governance and clinical meetings.
* Deliver key projects and support tactical health commander on‑call duties as required.
Person Specification – Essential
* Professional clinical qualification registered with GPhC, NMC, or HCPC.
* Masters level clinical practitioner qualification (PGDip or MSc) – Independent prescriber qualification preferred.
* Leadership and management qualification or the willingness to pursue one.
* Experience in Primary and/or Urgent Care with proven leadership and change‑management skills.
* Strong communication, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
* Current UK professional registration and valid driving license.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Person Specification – Desirable
* Experience with SystmOne LMS.
* Operational command at tactical and operational level.
* Experience in supporting and supervising learners in practice.
* Project management and business management skills.

Additional Information
The role requires enhanced DBS checks (Child & Adult Barring, Workforce) and up‑to‑date routine immunisations (MMR, Hep B, flu jab). Vaccination requirements include COVID‑19 double vaccination (recommended), Hep B (medium risk), and flu jab (recommended).
