SEN Teaching Assistant Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils within KS1 and KS2? We are working with an SEN school seeking to appoint numerous Teaching Assistants on a long-term basis. The school is looking for caring and resilient individuals to join their team and make a real difference in students’ lives on a full-time basis. Your Responsibilities: Support Learning: Assist pupils in all aspects of their educational and personal development. Engage Pupils: Use communication aids and sensory resources to motivate and engage students. Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver individualized education and care plans (EHCPs). Foster Environment: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere. Essential Skills & Experience: Experience: Previous professional experience supporting children or young people. Safeguarding: A solid understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare. Mindset: A patient, positive, and compassionate approach to challenging situations.
