This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Estates and Campus Services Directorate.
Responsibilities
* Carry out testing of Emergency Lighting systems: monthly short functional (Flick Testing) and annual testing as set out in BS5266 Part 1.
* Perform functional 6‑monthly testing of RCD and RCBO devices to satisfy BS7671‑2018.
* Assist the Mechanical and Electrical Team in maintenance, repair and modification of all aspects of work, while providing the highest level of customer service across the University’s estate.
Qualifications
* Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
* Appropriate experience with testing Emergency Lighting systems and fault reporting.
* Strong organisation, planning, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

Working Hours
This is a full‑time position. Normal hours of work are 38.5 per week Monday – Friday.

Pay
