Supply Chain Business Analyst – The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities and priorities within the global supply chain organization to support business strategy and objectives. This role reports to the Planning Centre of Excellence Director and is located in Cardiff, Amersham, Newquay, or Portsmouth (on‑site).
What You Will Do
* Utilize data‑driven insights and standardized processes to identify and resolve issues, assess performance and capability gaps across the global supply chain from cost and service perspectives.
* Develop early‑warning indicators to proactively detect risks such as demand variability, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances while leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and AI to enhance visibility, agility, and overall efficiency.
* Challenge data, insights, and trends to identify systemic issues and prioritize root‑cause investigations.
* Support the development and roll‑out of planning standards, SOPs, governance structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the adherence of supply chain strategic improvements.
Who You Are
* 3+ years of SAP and Oracle experience in commercial, manufacturing, and logistics operational roles within multicultural environments, with proven experience in continuous process improvement.
* Deep understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and key integration points, with a strong focus on technology‑enabled planning.
* Excellent project management, analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels, translating complex concepts into clear, simple messages with a highly analytical mindset.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
* Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
* Certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma, APICS, Prince2, PMP, etc.
* Advanced data analysis tools: Excel, SQL, Power BI, and statistical software, along with knowledge of supply chain systems such as TMS, WMS, and ERP (Oracle / SAP).
* Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, matrix, ambiguous environment.
