We are seeking a driven and emotionally intelligent Business Analyst to join our Improvement team on a Fixed Term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to influence how our services operate—tackling complex organisational challenges and helping ensure the Trust delivers efficient, high-quality support to the children and families we serve.
In this role, you will lead on business analysis, service design, and change initiatives, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations that deliver meaningful and measurable improvements across processes, technology, and people.
You will act as a trusted specialist, supporting projects, service improvements, and organisational change through insightful analysis and a collaborative approach to working.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert business analysis and service design support, working proactively with stakeholders across the Trust.
* Identifying and shaping future solutions to complex challenges across processes, technology, and people—enhancing outcomes and improving efficiency.
* Leading the planning and facilitation of workshops, meetings, time-and-motion studies, and process mapping sessions to diagnose issues and co-design improvements.
* Clearly documenting current and future state processes, producing high-quality blueprints, business cases, and cost–benefit analyses.
* Using data, insight, and stakeholder feedback to inform service redesign, strengthening quality, customer experience, and operational consistency.
* Working closely with project and operational teams, building strong relationships and encouraging engagement with change initiatives.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship
