This successful Groundworks contractor is seeking a commercially astute and driven Senior QS to join our team, delivering high-quality groundwork and civil engineering packages across a diverse portfolio of projects. The Role You will take full commercial responsibility for multiple groundwork projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure financial efficiency and project success. This is a key leadership position with real influence over business performance. Key Responsibilities Managing project costs from inception through to final account Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Valuations, variations, and cost reporting Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks or civil engineering Strong knowledge of commercial processes and contract management Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related field Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and commercially focused If you're ready to make a real impact and grow with a forward-thinking contractor, I would love to hear from you.
