Job Description
3. Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
5. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger entries.
6. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
7. Support the budgeting and forecasting process with data collection and entry.
8. Assist with payroll administration and expense claims processing.
9. Handle supplier queries and liaise with stakeholders regarding finance-related issues.
10. Help ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Sage (50) or a version of Sage is essential
12. A strong understanding of financial processes and principles.
13. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
14. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
15. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data management.
16. The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
