Description
* Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments for a wide range of clients within various industries.
* Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive recommendations to clients.
* Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and development opportunities.
* Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide updates.
* Ensure all audit work is completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
* Contribute to the development of the firm's audit processes and methodologies.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
* A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
* Proven expertise in audit practices within the professional services industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
