Billericay Doggie Daycare is an established industry leading Dog Daycare & Enrichment Centre. Responsibilities
* Assessing animal behaviour
* Supervising and managing staff
* Supervise the day to day running of the business
* Building and maintaining customer relationships and resolving complaints, explaining how the communication style they use affects outcomes.
* Keeping things tidy & clean
* Supporting other staff in getting activities ready
* Dog training and behaviour
* Follow health and safety requirements and respect the equality, diversity, and inclusion of others

Desired Qualifications
* Maths and English GCSE’s, or equivalents, as a minimum.
* Applicants MUST already hold a level 2 animal care or have extensive industry experience to be eligible for this level 3 position
Training
* The apprentice will be working towards a Level 3 Animal Care Apprenticeship and build a portfolio of evidence. You will be required to pass a knowledge test and an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.
* All training will take place at the work location and the applicant will complete an animal care apprenticeship in full.
Future Progression
* Most of our learners stay if they have reached the desired development. If they do not, they usually go on to do grooming or vet nursing.
Job Considerations
* Due to location, applicants cannot use public transport to get to work, they must have their own means of getting to work.
* The induction may take place at our other site; Paws Indoors.
* This is a fast paced job role so be prepared to be on your feet.
