A large bank is looking for a Test Automation Authentication Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and security of modern software platforms, with a strong focus on automated testing. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and other testers to design test strategies, build automated test suites, and identify issues early in the delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement automated test plans and strategies
2. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks
3. Test APIs, authentication flows, and session management
4. Analyse requirements and contribute to acceptance criteria and test coverage
5. Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution with development teams
6. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in test automation
7. Continuously improve testing processes and tooling
Skills & Experience
8. Strong Experience in test automation, particularly API testing
9. Experience designing and maintaining test frameworks
10. Understanding of authentication, identity, and session flows
11. Ability to work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams
12. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
13. Clear communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
14. Mobile application testing Experience
15. Performance or load testing expertise
16. Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments
