About the Role As a Visual Impairment TA, you will play a vital role in enabling a pupil with visual impairment to fully access the curriculum and daily school life. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and specialist services to provide high-quality, personalised support. Key Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with visual impairmentAdapting learning resources (e.g., enlarged print, tactile materials)Assisting with mobility, orientation, and independence around schoolSupporting the use of assistive technology or visual equipmentCollaborating with teachers, the Inclusion Team, and external professionalsAssisting with assessment, documentation, and progress monitoringPromoting confidence, resilience, and independence ?
