Day Shift About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HGV Supervisor (On the Tools) to join our team in Biggleswade. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a time-served HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified professional who is ready to take the next step in their career while remaining actively involved in workshop operations. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of HGV Technicians on a day-to-day basis Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards Assist with job allocation, workshop planning, and workflow management Support training and development of junior technicians Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain accurate job records and documentation Requirements
Time served HGV Technician or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Proven experience working on HGVs in a workshop environment Previous supervisory or team-leading experience desirable Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous) What We Offer
