About the Opportunity
A leading UK design & build fit out contractor is seeking a talented Furniture Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects, delivering innovative furniture solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Sell furniture solutions to new and existing clients, providing expert consultancy throughout the sales process.
* Develop detailed furniture specifications that align with client needs and design concepts.
* Present proposals and specifications to clients and design teams.
* Stay up to date with the latest furniture products and trends to offer innovative solutions.
* Manage the full procurement process: from cost plans and quotations to order placement and delivery scheduling.
* Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to secure the best products and pricing.
* Oversee project delivery, ensuring all documentation and schedules are accurate and up to date.
* Provide aftercare and account management for repeat and additional orders.
* Ensure compliance with company policies on quality, environment, and health & safety.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in furniture sales, consultancy, or a related field (commercial interiors, fit out, or design & build preferred).
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive, positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
* Technically informed on furniture products and trends.
