Financial Advisor
£50,000–£60,000 base salary + Bonus + 30% New Business Incentive

About your new Role
Signatus are working exclusively with a well-established and respected financial planning firm in Newry to recruit a Chartered or Certified Financial Advisor, or an ambitious Diploma-qualified professional keen to transition from banking or practice environment into independent financial consultancy.
Given our clients strong brand within the advisory services, this role offers a unique opportunity for fast progression and lucrative earning potential for anyone who wants to succeed in this industry.
Together with an enviable client list that you have direct access to, you will also have full paraplanning and administrative support to allow you to focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
You’ll manage an affluent portfolio of private and commercial clients, deliver tailored planning and advisory services, strive for high retention levels and drive new business opportunities, rewarded with a 30% commission on new revenue and very healthy retention bonus to supplement your high base salary.
What You’ll Do
* Provide strategic advice across pensions, investments, life and medical protection, tax and trust planning (doe)
* Maintain and deepen relationships with high-net-worth clients and business owners/family members of clients
* Conduct in-office client meetings twice weekly, plus remote and on-site visits when required
* Take responsibility for an existing client book and interrogate it for new business opportunities as well as retention of existing lines.
* Source, qualify, and convert new business prospects
* Adhere to and maintain strong financial and information governance procedures
Qualifications & Experience
* Chartered or Certified FP/FA
* Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipFA / DipPFS), Investment Advice Diploma or equivalent FCA
* Desirable: Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status
* Strong commercial sense with new business track record
* Previous experience in independent financial advice, banking, or practice advisory roles
