We’re working with a lovely primary school in Slough who are looking for a Year 3 teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in September. The school is supportive, well-resourced, and open to either a full-time teacher or a job share. They welcome applications from both experienced teachers with QTS and strong Unqualified Teachers looking to grow within a great team. As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom learning and helping students achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and create a positive and inclusive environment for all learners. Responsibilities Delivering the Year 3 curriculum with creativity and structure Creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere that supports all learners Working closely with colleagues and support staff to enhance student outcomes Planning, marking, and assessing pupils’ progress effectively Requirements ✔️ QTS or experience teaching in a UK classroom (UQT also considered) ✔️ Confident teaching the KS2 curriculum ✔️ Strong classroom management and communication skills ✔️ A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to the role At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
