The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
Qualiteach are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced, specialist SLD school on a full-time basis. You will be supporting students aged 5–19 years old with severe learning difficulties, some of whom may also have physical or medical needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and therapists to provide tailored support using a range of strategies including Makaton, PECs, and sensory-based learning. An enhanced DBS on the update service is essential, as is at least 1 year of experience working with students with SEN.
