Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working Available)
Rate: £50 - £55 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Initial 6 Months (Strong Potential for Extension)

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a well-regarded legal team, supporting key safeguarding and children's services functions. You will handle complex and sensitive matters, advising senior stakeholders and playing a vital role in delivering high-quality legal services across the council.

What You'll Be Doing
* Handling public and private children law matters, including care proceedings
* Managing high-value, sensitive cases relating to safeguarding and child protection
* Providing strategic legal advice to social services, senior officers, and stakeholders
* Representing the council in court proceedings and advocacy where required
