LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit full-time female Support Workersto join our learning disabilities team across Newcastle. As a Support Worker you will support people to live happy and fulfilled lives within their local communities.

Ensuring individual support needs are met through person-centred tailored support that promotes choice, independence and their voice.

Pay: £12.25 p/hr (non-complex rate) - £12.80 p/hr (complex rate)

Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a Support Worker, you will be kind and compassionate building caring and supportive relationships with the individual you support and their families. As a Support Worker, you will:

* Be the Best You Can Be: Be a great communicator, listening to the person to understand their wants, needs, dreams and ambitions.
* Be Safe: Have the person’s best interests in everything you do, protecting their privacy and dignity.
* Be Involved: Be a motivator, encouraging and guiding the person you support to take small but brave steps towards learning new skills, meeting new people and attending local community groups.
* Be Proud: Support the person to become as independent as they can, making their own choices, decisions and managing their finances.

Training

* Paid induction training:classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.
* Additional Specialist Training:provided to all new recruits - equipping you to meet the needs of the people we support and enabling you to provide person-centred approach.
* Training development:funded Level 3 and other accredited courses.
